Information collected
When you look at the web site of Design In Motion, our Internet Service Provider (Softsys Hosting) makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes:
your server address
your top level domain name (for example .com, .gov, .au, .uk etc)
the pages you accessed and documents downloaded
the previous site you have visited
the type of browser you are using
Access to information collected
Data In Motion will not make an attempt to identify users or their browsing activities. However, in the unlikely event of an investigation, a law enforcement agency may exercise its legal authority to inspect our Internet Service Provider's logs.
Data In Motion is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information, we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone. Whenever you use our web site, or any other web site, the computer on which the web pages are stored (the Web server) needs to know the network address of your computer so that it can send the requested web pages to your Internet browser. The unique network address of your computer is called its "IP address," and is sent automatically each time you access any Internet site. From a computer's IP address, it is possible to determine the general geographic location of that computer, but otherwise it is anonymous.
We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes.
Use and disclosure of information collected
Data In Motion will only record your e-mail address if you send us a message. Your e-mail address will only be used or disclosed for the purpose for which you have provided it and it will not be added to a mailing list or used or disclosed for any other purpose without your consent unless you request such action.
